Basic Exam charge of $25 with vaccines. Without vaccines, exam charge is $35.

Basic examination

Spay N Save Animal Clinic now offers Wellness Clinics every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 - 4 pm by appointment ONLY. All animals are required to have a basic examination before vaccines are administered to determine the appropriateness of immunizations and testing. This is not a full and complete physical examination.

Any appointments after 8/1/21, the exam fee will be $25 with vaccines (plus vaccines cost), or $35 without vaccines.  There is a deposit of $25 required to book a wellness appointment. 
 Due to high call volume, our online appointment request is the preferred method to request an appointment.

  • Please be aware we require a $25 deposit per animal by credit/debit card to book an appointment whether online or with a receptionist.
  • This deposit will be applied towards your pet’s charges, but will NOT be refunded if you do not show up or if you cancel less than 48 hours before the appointment.
  • Appointments with a technician instead of a veterinarian will pay a
    Tech Appointment fee of $10 in lieu of the $25 exam fee.
  • Please allow 24 business hours for a response.
  • Please do not schedule more than 3 pets per day for our wellness clinic.  
  • Pets 4 months or older that are not already spayed or neutered visiting our Wellness Clinic will be charged a $50 unaltered fee per visit. This is in order to support our mission to lower the number of healthy pets being killed. This fee can be credited towards a spay/neuter appointment within 90 days.

***To request heartworm medication for your pet through our online pharmacy, please ensure that your pet has visited our healthy pet clinic or has been spayed/neutered with us within the past year. Your pet must also have an up-to-date heartworm test or a current heartworm test and be up-to-date on their heartworm medication.

Vaccinations

Keeping our pets up to date with all the available vaccinations is part of responsible pet ownership and should be considered a necessity rather than a luxury.   Proactive care is an excellent first step to ensure the health of your dog or cat.
