​🐾 Now Hiring: Full-Time High-Quality, High-Volume Spay/Neuter Veterinarian 🐾

​Spay N Save is seeking a full-time on-site HQHVSN veterinarian to join our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization's driven team in Longwood, FL. This position offers a 4-day workweek with a balanced schedule of surgery days and vaccine/wellness clinic each week.

​Position Overview
The veterinarian will perform approximately 30–35 spay and neuter surgeries per day, delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care. Surgical responsibilities include pre- and post-operative examinations, anesthesia oversight, patient monitoring, and strict adherence to medical and organizational standards.
Wellness clinic responsibilities include conducting basic wellness exams and administering routine vaccinations.

We welcome all experience levels, including new or recent DVM graduates who are eager to learn and grow. As a nonprofit clinic, we provide hands-on mentorship, structured training, and ongoing support within a collaborative environment focused on learning and long-term success.

Veterinary Technician

Job Description -

​Responsibilities: The Veterinary Technician role is a wonderful opportunity for a career-minded and values-driven individual to experience a growing business model that supports our local community as a non-profit. The individual will be responsible for providing quality patient care and supporting all surgical patients. The individual will also assist with maintaining preventative health programs while adhering to all medical protocols.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Promote the humane care and treatment of animals at all times.
  • Assist the Veterinarian in the pre-op examination of patients.
  • Prepare all patients for surgical sterilizations (roughly 35-55 patients per day)
  • Monitor patients post-op to ensure appropriate recovery and healing.
  • Inoculate patients
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the office to prevent infectious/zoonotic disease.
  • Assist with post-op rechecks and ordering medical treatments as necessary to ensure complete surgical recovery.
  • Actively promote spaying and neutering and educate clients on responsible pet ownership.
  • Provide high-quality service to all clients.

Flexible work schedule - Monday through Friday only (full time = four ten-hour days) Veterinary Technician Certification strongly preferred (or equivalent in experience) 2 years experience functioning as a veterinary technician, high energy and inspirational attitude
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse community
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results and strong commitment to client service
  • Proven problem-solving skills and an ownership mentality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
