​Before surgery 


​
Dogs

 ​Dogs must be on a leash

​No food after midnight the night before surgery for dogs over 4 months of age. Water is okay.   

Dogs must be dropped off between 7:45 and 8 a.m. After then they are considered late and a $25 fee will be charged IF the animal is still accepted.

Pick up time for dogs is 4 p.m. SHARP. If you cannot make it let us know early; however, your dog MUST be picked up by 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. a $25 late fee will be charged every 15 minutes.






cats

Each cat needs to be in their own carrier or trap and a towel needs to be in each carrier. You may bring an additional towel to put in the trap after surgery. No litter boxes or bowls in carriers or traps, please. 

Feral cats must be in a humane trap. 

Domestic cats must be dropped off at 8:15 a.m. After then  they are considered late and a $25 fee will be charged IF the animal is still accepted.

Feral cats cannot be dropped off before 8:30 a.m. 

​Pick up time for all cats is 5 p.m. SHARP Your animal MUST be picked up by 5:00 p.m. unless other arrangements are made in advance. Past 5 p.m. a $25 late fee may be charged every 15 minutes.
Animals must be in good health. If your pet is showing any signs of illness such as coughing, sneezing, runny eyes, diarrhea, or is on any type of medicine for treatment, it is possible that they may be declined for surgery.  Prior to surgery, please let us know if you pet is on any medication.​

​If you have current vaccination records for your pet, please bring them with you. Otherwise, we are required by law to give a rabies vaccination (which is free with our spay/neuter surgeries).

Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida in Casselberry at 407-644-4449.
